Indonesia is one of the world's great coffee origins, producing the deep, earthy Sumatra Mandheling, the bright Aceh Gayo, the syrupy Toraja Kalosi, and the legendary Kopi Luwak that roasters and collectors chase worldwide. Most of these beans never reach international retail shelves at a fair price — they sell freshest and most affordably on Indonesian marketplaces and direct from estates. For US buyers, the duty picture changed on 24 July 2026: the Section 122 surcharge lapsed, and a separate Section 301 action signed on 23 July 2026 covers Indonesia. Its effective date and product exclusions have not yet been published in the Federal Register, so we don't publish a US duty figure, and the February 2026 US-Indonesia trade agreement is still not ratified. Rules vary by destination, and we confirm the expected landed cost for your country in every quote. We help home brewers, cafes, specialty roasters, and gift-givers buy real Indonesian coffee at the source and ship it anywhere.

Single-origin authenticity, straight from the source

Buy directly from Indonesian estates and official seller stores instead of relabeled blends. You get genuine Sumatra, Gayo, Toraja, Java, and Bali Kintamani beans at the freshness and provenance that resellers abroad rarely match.

Transparent pricing vs. inflated import markups

The same beans cost a fraction of overseas specialty-store prices once you cut out the importer chain. You pay the real Indonesian price plus clear, transparent handling — no hidden markups baked into the bag.

We buy for you when foreign cards fail

An honest landed cost, confirmed before you pay

The US duty regime for Indonesian goods changed on 24 July 2026 — the Section 122 surcharge lapsed, and a separate Section 301 action signed on 23 July 2026 covers Indonesia, with its effective date and product exclusions not yet published in the Federal Register. We don't publish a duty figure we can't fully source. Rules vary by destination; we confirm the duty estimate for your country in every quote.

Popular Indonesian Coffee to ship worldwide

Real, in-demand products our customers source from Indonesia. Send any product link and we'll handle the rest.

Kopi Luwak

The world-famous civet coffee — rare, smooth, and low-acid. We source from sellers with traceable origin and can prioritise cage-free, ethically-handled lots on request, so you get the genuine article — not a relabeled imitation. Prefer to skip the controversy? Single-origin Gayo, Toraja, and Sumatra are superb alternatives.

Sumatra Mandheling Coffee Beans

Full-bodied, earthy, and low-acid with notes of cedar and dark chocolate — the classic Sumatra profile roasters worldwide rely on.

Aceh Gayo Coffee

Highland Arabica from the Gayo region, often organic-certified, with herbal-spicy depth and a clean, syrupy finish.

Toraja Kalosi Coffee

Sulawesi highland beans prized for rich body, ripe-fruit sweetness, and a wine-like complexity favored by specialty cafes.

Java Coffee Beans

The original namesake coffee — smooth, nutty, and mellow estate Arabica, available green or roasted for both home brewers and roasters.

Bali Kintamani Coffee

Bright, citrusy volcanic-soil Arabica with a clean, fruity acidity — a lively contrast to Indonesia's heavier beans.

Flores Bajawa Single-Origin

Volcanic highland beans with chocolate, floral, and herbal notes — a sought-after single origin for filter and pour-over.

Green Unroasted Indonesian Beans

Sumatra, Gayo, Java, and Toraja green beans for home roasters and micro-roasteries who want to roast to their own profile.

Indonesian Coffee — frequently asked questions

Can I import Indonesian coffee into my country?

Roasted coffee — whole bean or ground — is an accepted import in most countries and clears customs most easily. Green (unroasted) beans are raw agricultural goods: many countries restrict them or require a phytosanitary certificate, so we recommend roasted unless you specifically need green. Rules vary by destination and quantity, so tell us where you're shipping and whether you want roasted or green, and we'll confirm what's required in your quote.

Should I choose roasted or green (unroasted) beans?

For hassle-free international delivery, choose roasted — whole bean keeps freshness longest. Green beans are popular with home roasters but are treated as a raw plant product at many borders and can need a phytosanitary certificate or be refused, especially to Australia, New Zealand, and the US. If you need green beans, say so in your request and we'll check your destination's rules before you commit.

Do US customers pay import duty on Indonesian coffee?

Duty is assessed by US customs on arrival, and the regime changed on 24 July 2026: the Section 122 surcharge lapsed, and a separate Section 301 action signed on 23 July 2026 covers Indonesia. Its effective date and product exclusions have not yet been published in the Federal Register, so we don't publish a figure — check our USA shipping guide for the latest. The February 2026 US-Indonesia trade agreement is still not ratified. The US does require an FDA Prior Notice filing for food shipments before they arrive — we'll guide you through any required FDA Prior Notice as part of preparing your shipment. We'll confirm the exact handling and full landed cost in your itemized quote.

Will my coffee arrive fresh after international shipping?

We forward your beans from our Kendal warehouse quickly via express couriers, so most orders reach you within typical international delivery windows. For peak freshness, choose whole beans over pre-ground and brew within a few weeks of the roast date. We can also photograph the roast-date labels before shipping so you know exactly what you are getting.

How do I know the Kopi Luwak is authentic and ethically sourced?

Kopi Luwak is widely imitated and tied to real animal-welfare concerns, so we source from sellers with traceable origin information and verify each order at our warehouse. Before we ship, we photograph the product, packaging, and any certification so you can confirm it matches the listing. If animal welfare matters to you, ask us to prioritise cage-free, traceable lots — or choose a single-origin bean like Gayo or Toraja, which carries none of the same concerns.

Can I pay without an Indonesian card or bank account?

Yes. Many Indonesian coffee sellers reject foreign cards at checkout, which is exactly why our Personal Shopper service exists. Send us the product link, we buy it in rupiah on your behalf, and you pay us — no Indonesian card or local bank account needed. The fee is one all-in USD price, with a free quote and no commitment until you approve.

Can I combine coffee from several roasters into one shipment?

Yes — consolidation is one of the biggest reasons buyers use us. Order from multiple Indonesian roasters and have everything sent to your warehouse address, and we combine it into a single international shipment. This reduces per-item freight cost compared to shipping each bag separately.

Is coffee fragile or does it need special packaging?

Beans themselves are durable, but valve-sealed bags can be punctured or crushed in transit and ground coffee can spill if a seal fails. We inspect every order, reinforce or repack vulnerable bags, and protect them inside the outer carton so your coffee arrives intact and sealed.
