How we work
Forwarding is a business people have been burned by. So here is every mechanic that decides what you pay and what happens to your parcel, written plainly, in one place. Each one is how the system actually behaves — not an aspiration.
When a package reaches our warehouse in Kendal, Central Java, we photograph it and the photo appears in your dashboard. You look at it before you decide to ship, combine or return.
If a parcel of yours is showing without a photo, ask us and we will take one.
Carriers charge for the space a box takes as well as its mass, and so do we — never one rule for us and another for them. Volumetric weight is length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5000. Whichever is greater is the chargeable weight.
A light, bulky box costs more than the scale suggests. That is the carrier's rule, and we pass it through unchanged.
A Buy for Me quote is a single total for the item and our service, shown before you commit. International shipping is quoted separately by weight once the parcel is with us and we know what it actually weighs.
We do not add a fee at the end that was not in the quote you accepted.
If a parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or not what was ordered, we email you a condition report with photos. You have 24 hours from that email to tell us what you want done.
After 24 hours without a reply we treat the item as accepted and forward it, so nothing sits in the warehouse accruing storage while we wait.
A refund is paid to your IndoShip wallet — instant and fee-free — or back to the original payment method. Never to a different card, a different account, or a different person.
That rule exists to protect you: an attacker who reaches your inbox still cannot redirect your money.
You build the request without signing in, and create a free account to send it. The account is what lets us tie your quote, your parcels and your payments together — and lets you see every one of them later.
The shipping calculator asks for nothing at all: no account, no email.
Every one of these is a line a scammer would have to cross to impersonate us. If you ever see one crossed, you are not talking to IndoShip.
