What is the Personal Shopper Service?
Many Indonesian online stores only accept local payment methods — Indonesian bank accounts, GoPay, OVO, Dana, or credit cards issued by Indonesian banks. If you live outside Indonesia, these payment methods are unavailable to you. IndoShip's Personal Shopper service solves this. We have Indonesian payment methods set up. You tell us what you want to buy, we purchase it on your behalf, receive it at our warehouse, and ship it to you worldwide. You pay in your local currency — no Indonesian bank account needed.
How to Use the Personal Shopper Service
Step 1: Submit a Personal Shopper request via your dashboard or email. Include the product URL, quantity, color/variant if applicable, and maximum price you're willing to pay. Step 2: We confirm availability and provide a total quote including the item cost plus our service fee. Step 3: You approve and pay via PayPal or credit card. Step 4: We buy the item within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Step 5: The seller ships to our Kendal warehouse. We receive, inspect, photograph, and notify you. Step 6: Choose to consolidate with other packages or ship immediately. Pay shipping separately.
Service Fees Explained
Our Personal Shopper service fee is straightforward: • 10% of item cost for orders under $50 • 7% of item cost for orders $50-$200 • 5% of item cost for orders over $200 Example: You want a Batik shirt priced at Rp 500,000 (~$32). Service fee at 10% = ~$3.20. Total cost = ~$35.20 plus shipping. There are no hidden fees. The item cost is what we pay at checkout — you see the receipt. We never mark up prices.
